New items listed!

Got some new items in the store, enjoy!

First, a pair of lovely keychains, both in Euro 1-4 diamond weave pattern:

Sunburst:

Rainbow:

An always popular item, chainmaille worry balls are an amazing stress relief. They absorb heat quickly, and then radiates it back out. This makes it feel warm within moments of handling it! It also makes a soft tinkling sound as you move the rings against each other, promoting calmness. Finally, you can chuck it at walls with no worry of damaging it! I'd avoid throwing it at anything fragile, such as co-workers, as it is made of metal.

Finally, one of my favorite items so far! Yes, those are real resistors. They probably would still work in a pinch in you, for some reason, absolutely needed a resistor. Perhaps you need to MacGyver a nuclear weapon? No matter what, you will look great, and be ready to build a nuclear weapon*.
Tech Resistors in Circles Earrings

*Only in 0.00301% of nuclear weapon building emergencies will these earrings contain the necessary parts. Earrings do not give knowledge of nuclear science or engineering. Chained to the Strange does not take responsibility for any nuclear winters resulting from the use of these earrings.

New Items!

Added a few new items to the shop!

First up: a delicate resistor bracelet. Yes, those are real resistors! A matching set of earrings are also in the works =)

And now the dice! These two both work as real dice. Yup, you can actually use these in campaigns or monopoly or whatever. I'd ask the other players first though, they may not be as convinced of its ability to produce random numbers.

Hello World

Hey! In the chainmailling world I go by Gwenhyver, and I've been chainmailling for about.. 2 months now.

So, where do I get off having a blog about chainmailling as such a greenhorn?

I've been crafty for as long as I can remember, and for years have been doing geeky things with cross stitch. One fateful day a friend of mine showed me a sheet of chainmaille in black with a red dragon inlay, and this sparked my interest into chainmailling.

So why the blog?

I'm weird. Strange even! Visiting my etsy store Chained to the Strange you can see what I mean. I do some of the standard, gourgous, chainmaille accessoris, but I also do things that you won't find anywhere else! Trust me, you're going to want to keep track of some of the things I come up with! I'm always willing to share my ideas, so if you ever want a tutorial for something I've done just ask!
